First 2 hunts
Well, I finally got a chance to take out the new MD and give it a try. The first trip was to a local lake. I was going to hit the beach, but they had that access road blocked, so I went to another area where they load/unload boats. We were only able to stay a short time, and found TONS of old pull tabs, and 2 pennies. This past weekend, went to an old farm house near my home. Basically only found some old iron pieces, rusted beyond recognition, and a 30-06 shell casing. Oh and of course several pop tabs....lol.. I am still getting the hang of my detector, and learning how to locate stuff, but at least I had fun. Anyway, thought I would give you all an update.

that's exactly what you need to do...keep learning the detector and eventually the good stuff will come. 2 pennies is not bad for your first hunt!

Keep going and the good stuff will come..It takes a little time to learn your machine, but when you do it's great...That is still good for a first few hunts...I still dig a lot of pull tabs and beer caps after all these years...It will get easier as you go...Just remember to have fun.....Buster...
