Default Suggestions for hunting this weekend...

OK, I'm kindof at a loss for what I wanna do this weekend... not sure where I wanna hunt... thought I'd put it out there and see what kinda ideas you guys had...

For the most part, Austin parks are off-limits, bu there's one that I still hunt (they don't really enforce it there)...

Anyway, let's see what ya got!

Well, not sure about fair grounds, but I'm sure there are old churches...

I'm actually on Google Earth and searching the web right now, looking for the exact location of a town called Bagdad, which is near Leander (which is near Austin lol)...

I'm not sure what–if anything–I should be looking for, but I know that it is supposed to have been 1 mile West of Leander... but when it says "West of Leander", I'm not sure exactly what "Leander" means in this case... I'm going by the coordinates on the map...

It's something to do, anyway... I do have a couple places in mind for the weekend, but I was just seeing what you guys might come up with!

i looked around, there is an austin county fair, the grounds were built in 1927. it's in bellville, tx. not sure how close it is to you. Austin County Fair

also looks like this is a good site, check if any are close to you:
Texas Association of Fairs & Events - Calendar of Fairs & Events

It's just the right time of year to MD around creeks and other water sources close to newly turned ground looking for relics/coins and maybe an arrowhead as well. Hope you have a great weekend...looking forward to your post!
