Got another one.

Was detecting one day last year, and I guess the fellow didn't notice the long metal object projecting from my hand swing back and forth. So he nods to my head phones and asked, "Who you listening too?" I told him Snoop Diggidy Dogg. He said "Cool" and walked off.

I told her it was OK. I was in the Sand and he kept diggin everything lol, I knew he was loving it, he got about 15 pennies, he was a Happy Guy!

While searching the water at a local popular shore casting spot I took a break to clean up the fishing lures I collected off the rocks. As I sat there in my wet suit, snorkel, mask, and fins cutting the old fishing line off these lures this elderly retired gentlemen approached and asked what I was doing. I told him I was making these lures ready to sell. He says, "Hey! That's the one I lost here yesterday!!" He calls for his friend to come and look at my find. The other elderly gentlemen walks over and says "Well, I'll be!! There are a couple of my lures in there too!!". Since I had an ice cream pail almost full of fishing lures I told them they could have their lures back, and then told them they could have their pick of what was left if they wanted, realizing that I would get them back soon enough anyway. Those two genlemen dug in that ice cream pail for 20 minutes, touching each lure like it was brand new from the tackle store. They couldn't stop talking about their good fortune and thanking me for letting them dig in the pail. It made their day and in turn made my day.
