I was on the beach last week detecting & a 3 year old boy came up to me & asked "What are you looking for with that?" I said "Money", he said "Dollars?" I said no, just change" He said "What else?" I said "Jewelry, like rings & necklaces." Then he said "Are you looking for dead people?" I thought I was gonna fall down laughing, I said "No it won't find dead people plus there's no dead people out here." His dad called him over, as they were leaving, he was so cute.

I was at a ballpark hunting one day. A feller walks up and started talking to me. I had my headphones still on and he was just yammering away. I stop and pull off phones. He then says to me. " You are not gonna find anything here". I used to hunt here all the time and nothing is here. He talks like this for at least 10 minutes before he wound down.

I ask him when he hunted. Oh a month or 2 ago. I says oh ok I guess I will leave seeing as you found it all. He says then. Well just wondering before you do leave have you even found a penny? I then pulled out a double hanfull of clad to show him. His eyes just bugged out. He got mad and walked off without another word, Beale.

Two days agao I was at a park.....not in the mood to be bothered at all...and here comes the kids,,,,,I pretend I don't see them and I don't hear them,,,,,then they start asking me questions, "what are you doing", "have you found anything" after very short one word answers, they finally got bored with me..and then this one kid asks ...as he is stomping the ground with his foot...."Can you hear this?"....I sharply said Yes. And they left!
