Default Metal detecting or joy riding?

Could not make up my mind this morning if I should go metal detecting or joy riding, then a freind called and told me about a car show 1 hour away so I jumped in the firebird and took off. I noticed quite a few old houses on the way with brick supports that I will have to go back to and ask permission to hunt. Lots of awesome cars and trucks but my camera broke so all I have is a pic. of my firebird. I had it in my pocket and musta shifted gears a little to hard and broke the lens. LOL

Its hard to tell on that angle.
first year of the firebird 67. 67 and 68 look alike except for the side window. 67 is the only one with it. I was 14 when they came out and I said I would get one. It just took me a while. 40 years.

I had a 70 with a Big Block 350 and on a sweet day I would have taken it for a burn instead of swinging the detector

69 GTO was sweet. I sold a 67 GTO in 73 for $300(looking and running good). I'm restoring a 67 GTO in my shop right now.
