That is just to wild! It really does make you wonder though. Why you and your death ray? Oh man I probably would have been laughing at her. You did good not to, Beale.

That's a wild experience, alabamaslim. I'm glad that death ray machines are more powerful than a monkee foot hex.
I had strange thing happen related to detecting. My dear mother in law actually bought me my detector for my birthday, many years ago. She lived several states away from us at the time. Anyway, soon after I got it, a Civil War site opened up close by, due to development. One day I went and hunted this site, and found a Union officer's button, with most of the gilt still intact (yes, the happy dance was done big time). Right after I got home with my prize, Mom calls, and asked my wife if I had found some kind of gold button (!). She said that she had had the clearest dream the night before, seeing me digging in the mud and finding a shiny gold button. Really blew all of our minds; her description of her dream matched exactly in details where I was, what I was wearing and the find itself. Can't explain it at all; it was just one of those cool things that happens sometimes. |

If you could burn holes in the ground with your death ray machine you wouldn't have to dig.

What a post slim......supper funny!....I think some of her cheese done slid off her cracker
. It is sad when a person has to escape from reality in order to cope with lifes' issues.......You think you were afraid....imagine what she went through...with that being said, I would have been looking for a quick exit myself.....I don't believe you could have handled any better.....good job!....Great post.....! |
