Default Help Locating Property Owner.

Hey everyone, got a quick? for you all. What have you found is the quickest way to find out the name & or phone number of a owner of a site? The reason is I found a site that is abandoned & looks promising, but the neighbors don’t know who owns the property anymore I have the address, so was wondering is there some local city office a person could call & that would just give you the owners name & phone number or at least name so you could look it up yourself? Didn’t really know where to start looking so any pointers you guys have used would be appreciated. If I can just call a place & get info great, if I have to go in to search records then ok, but where would be the best place to start looking? Thanks Guys!!!

In our county, I can go to the county web site and go to the tax link and there is a map of the county that you can zoom in to a property and click something and it gives all the info of it. Owners name when they bought it and what they paid for it, even a picture of it. Ours is called Imaps. Maybe your county has the same thing or something like it.

Default Locating owner

Thanks everyone, I figure it out, found an online site for my county, plugged in the address, got the current owners name & mailing address, then went to an address look up site plugged in the owners mailing address & got their phone number. Will give the owner a call later tonight & see if they will grant permission to hunt on their property. Hope so, as it looks like it could be promising as it's a very old looking barn & house. Wish Me Luck!
