Default First hunt

Got out in the front yard a few days ago and found a toy car and newer pennies and a dime, then I spent 45 min. at the park at the bottom of the sledding hill. Got a few trash items and pull tabs which fooled me. I did what E said and ran disc. on nails and foil and I see the difference in sound. A coin is solid and repeatable. Some were in the grass and some were 2-4 in. down. In one hole there were two nickels and a penny. The prizm doesn't get louder or softer with depth but maybe these weren't deep enough. Foun 3 nickels 6 pennies and a 25. It was a good learning experience. I have to go Fri. for an annual 4 hour stress test then the afternoon is mine so I'm going to the projects to practice. When I find something good I'll figure out how to do pictures to show Y'all. Thanks to all for helping me

Glad you're figuring it out & finding some good stuff, you're right about the Prizm's not having faint deeper tones, just one solid loud tone, makes it a lot easier, keep at it, it only gets easier!!!
