Tip for finding old cellar holes / foundations

Here's a good tip on finding them old time cellar holes and stone foundations.

Find a good active deer hunting forum for your state and join it.
Then make a post asking if anyone knows of any cellar holes or old stone foundations. I bet you will get a few leeds.

I know I found a few while Mushroom pickin and turkey hunting a few years back.

Thats a nice tip Gregory but now that you kicked up the idea machine i would suppose anyone who works near wooded areas and utility workers, also observing trees in the middle of a meadow and shrubbery or ornamental trees that wouldn,t be part of the natural landscape open possibilties to be explore. Good idea Bill.

Another good one to ask is loggers/timberers, they work in the forest.
