Is it possible? Is there a website that gives you that information or not? Most of the county parks and beaches are okay to detect. The only parks that you need special permission are national parks. any website or way I can find out about the year any park got built? Would like to detect a park I am sure was built in the 1900s or 1850s then for sure at least I would hope to find a couple silver cois, wheats or IH. Any info on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. There is one park in particular I am curious and am almost sure it's been there for a while.

Smartfox,
Some parks have there own webpage with their history. The public library/courthouse would have the information under property records most likely. County parks near me do not allow metal detecting unfortunately, as possessing a metal detector on public property anywhere in the county is viewed a trespassing under municipal code. HH- |
