Default anyone save the scrap for cash?

Being that in just blocks from a scrapyard, I've begun to leave a five gallon bucket for all the heavy metal "things" I've been pulling up. Yesterday i went out for an hour and pulled up about 10 pounds steel and copper crap in a spot at a city park.

Is it worth doing? Should I plan on doing more than just a five gallon bucket for at least a twenty spot?

Scrap prices are really high right now. Treasure comes in many forms and scrap is tri fold. You help clean the ground, put some money in your pocket, recycle the scrap so its used for new things.

I just sold copper wire for $1.90 a pound with the insulation still on. Scrap copper tubing was worth $3.30 a pound. Scrap iron was 9 cents a pound. Melted aluminum cans, cartridge cases, and all metal is definitely worth saving. I'd like to find a buried anvil!!
