Our comapny is getting ready to build a house for this Client. Its in Brady Point, Amelia Island right on Amelia River. I asked permission and he said go ahead. Spent 3 hours hunting in untouched land. No coins. A few bb's and an old fishing weight.
One thing I found was pretty odd. It is some type of slag with three (3) round balls fused together. It was around 6-7" deep. Looks pretty old. What in the world is this doing here? I have no idea where it came from. I am looking up the history of that place today. Here are some pics of it. Oh, almost forgot.....I got pretty close to a Yellow Jacket in-ground nest. Thank God I was alert and paying close attention where I step!! Anyone have any ideaswhat these are? Picture 1 Picture 2
