Default Help with my Metal Detecting Manual ad?

I haven't given this out to the public yet, but I'd like the Treasure Quest members to take a peek at my web ad for The Metal Detecting Manual before I release it. Let me know if it's enticing enough to draw orders:

The Metal Detecting Manual

Thanks!

---Dan

Are you asking with thoughts on your overall advertisement? Or the advertisement as a *website*? Because I have a few thoughts....

First and foremost - I would love to see the brief description of the book, ya know in the blue text right above it, a little easier on the eyes. Try de-capitalizing most of those words, make it less of a title and have it read more like a regular sentence. Un-bolding the text might help too.

Also, you describe it as "brand new" - but for marketing purposes I would suggest "the latest and most current information" or something along those lines... Brand new is the condition of the book, but what you want to market is what is INSIDE the book and why people should buy it and read it - because it's the latest and freshest info around - thats why!

And finally, you should show why you're qualified to have written such a book. I would add a brief paragraph (maybe even just a sentence after your name like "Dan Hughes - Hobby Metal Detectors for xx years") about yourself and how you came to learn such information, what your experience is - give the reader a reason to believe you!

Hope this helps! lol I think *I* just wrote a book!

- Ali

I've made it REALLY easy on the eyes - I've removed it! (All that info was repeated either directly below, or in the table of contents).

I put my Hall of Fame designation up top; I had (and still have) a short bio at the bottom - you must have missed it.

I appreciate the thoughts - excellent ideas!
