Bounty Hunter Discovery 1100???
Wife and I went to a yard sale last Saturday, and a lady was bringing out a Discovery 1100 metal detector. Of course I grabbed it. It was only 10.00, and she said it was only used once, to find a property marker. The original battery in it is still good. No owner's manual, though. I was just wondering if this machine would be too "Mickey Mouse", or if I should sell it, or do something else with it. Don't really need another machine........

Hey DF check out this page of reviews.
11 Reviews for Bounty Hunter Discovery 1100 I dunno why not keep it as a back up or one for friends? If you do sell it I am sure you could double your money, Beale.

There are also some folks right here on TQ who are trying to save-up the $$$ for a machine - and might appreciate being able to buy it for a few dollars so they could get started in this great obsession of ours...

Thank y'all for all the good posts and ideas!
I was gone the entire day yesterday, and didn't get back until late. Some good ideas. I would like to see a kid get this machine, or maybe someone else. Thanks also for the owner's manual info!
