My advice is bring warm clothes (there will still be plenty of snow up top) and a good camera. Get up early and drive up to the NP along the Fall River Road and watch for bighorns along the way (before you get to the park). The park is loaded with elk (overloaded, actually), but also, the town is loaded with deer, so be careful when you're driving early or late. Most important, be sure to aclimate a bit before doing much hiking. A great day hike that doesn't get much traffic is the hike to Ouzel falls/lake. Drive down Colorado 7 to the Wild Basin Ranger Station. My wife loved that hike and always remembers it.

Have fun!

Man thanks, that is all great info..
And thank you all..
I just got home. I went out for about 3hr MD'ing with a pal of mine, (I used the MXT and he used the ACE) We did not find anything worth noting but had a darn good time at it..We got back and have been quenching or thirst with a few frosty beverages and a few, (lol) sips of MM.
All-in-all it was a damn good day..Tomorrow i have to be at the airport by 7am so that relay bits, but its all worth it..I will talk to all of you next Sat when i get back and share a few pics of the trip..
