"forgot to mention I also installed a one way check valve toward the tank Between the tank and the Pump going into the tank.."

I am not sure I understand where you put this check valve. If it's between the pump and the pressure tank the check valve will not allow the pressure tank to pressurize the water line. The result would be that the only water pressure you would have is when the pump was running. The pressure tank must have a clear line to the pipes going in to the house. Is it possible the check valve is in the wrong location? The check valve should be on the water line coming from the well and before the pump so the water cannot drain back down in to the well. It actually replaces the foot valve at the bottom of the well.

Hey James, Sorry to hear about your water problems. Reminds me when I lived in Canada and our waterline from the lake would freeze causing us all kinds of havic and we had our share of pump troubles too. My dad would come over and help us out as he was pretty good with them. He's passed on now so I cant offer any advice but you have my sympathy. Good Luck with it. G-girl

Haaaa! You think your having problems? Six mouths ago I was siting on my couch. Lap Top in Lap and and all hell broke loose. I had just told the wife I need to shut down, the lightening is getting close. She said yep get off. Just about that time We took a hit on our power pole. It killed the well pump, 180 ft down , my lap top did the POP ZINNNNNNG in my lap, the TV Crapped out. The phone in the bed room and living room smoked.

Yep things could be worse.

Pull the well: $150.

Replace the motor: $400.

Lap top: $750. replaced with a $400. gunky acer I use today!

Phones, $30 each !

I figure I was lucky, I still have my man stuff!

Ok I am totally worn out..After spending 20 hrs straight working on the well saturday/sunday today monday I called a well man..I pulled the well twice saturday
We pulled it again today we found a peice of rust stuck in the ejector valve..I replaced it sat with a cheapo lowes foot valve..I told the pump/well repairman just to fix it whatever it needed just fix it..After 1 week of me messing with it my wife was turning into her native Indian self..lol..So we needed Water and water Fast..so we replaced the Pump, regulator 80' of 1 1/4 and 1" pipe fittings new Myers good foot valve and ejector and we added 20' for more water Depth..Its working But a little merky for now..Found out my well is 150' Deep with 70' of water so we should be good to go for a while..total spent..
I spent and replaced $600.00 in parts myself, the repairman which was a Deal to me due to I bought a new Better foot valve and Nozzle from him with labor was $250.00 and had it fixed in 2.5 hrs Needless to say..He's gotten my Business for Life.he responded within an hour of me calling him..great folks..So sometime its Best to call a professional to go ahead and fix the major home projects..Plus my wife is Happy thats the main thing..Now I just hope the water clears up....Thanks to all..james
