Glad to hear you fixed your water problem and I agree sometimes its worth it to hire a pro. Hubby and I bought an above ground pool last year and scoffed at the guy who said it was to big of a job for the two of us to do. My God Never again. We did it but it was a battle right from the start. Would have saved a whole lot of cursing and aggravation if we would have just spent the $600 to have it done.

Ain't Construction Stuff, KEWL!

Most of the time it just makes sense to call a professional but Bob Villa and the boys have got half of the nation convinced they could build the Hoover Dam. Having the experience (painfully earned I might add) and the Right Equipment makes it a lot easier and faster to tackle the problem. Unfortunately, I'm in the business so I usually wind up tackling these things myself, on my day off, zero fun that.

I'm glad you got it fixed before your wife scalped you. That happened to a friend of mine when he came home late and drunk one night; he realized too late that his inlaws had already come, eaten dinner and left before he made it home at 1 am. He had completely forgotten about the dinner date but his wife hadn't and she was full blood Apache. Kluned him in the head with a hatchet and knocked him out cold, he woke up the next morning with a splitting headache and part of his ear missing.

It could have been MUCH worse, Mate.
