Default Treasure Coast Sebastian Florida

I'm planning to take a trip with my dad to Sebastian Florida and stay there for 1 1/2 to 2 days around June and hunt the coast for gold or silver coins. Has anyone here ever done this? We saw a show about a treasure hunter that got really lucky and found a 24 k gold box with jewles inside on top of it estimated at $350,000. Does anyone live at Sebastian? What area would be the best to find Gold / Silver coins? Is everything fair game at the beach or is there some restrictive areas? Let me know. Thanks in advance.

If I was you, I would spend a few hours on the north end of Wabasso Beach.

Before I got into mding, I used to go to Sebastain every year on vacation. I love that area. Mel Fisher's museum is in the town of Sebastain itself. It is pretty cool if you have never been.Sebastain Inlet and Wabasso beach are minutes from each other, so try them both. If you need some info on where to stay, let me know. Good luck!

I took a few of my so called buddies to the place mentioned above. They pulled 11 Silver Reals from the tide line. Did they Share.. Hell no.

That was back in 1985. I was stationed at Patric AFB.

God, Am I getting Old or what?

Your looking for a colbalt blue/black flat object. Silver is sulfided and could be crumbly if a bad one.
