From What Point To What Point Treasure Coast?

As you all know I will be going to the treasure coast at Sebastian Florida. My question is where does the treasure coast begin and where does it end? I know most of the treasure coast is in Sebastian Beach and we also found out that the whole sebastian is a state park? not too sure. I tried to locate hotels right on oceanfront but they for some reason are not available or do not even exist. I did find some ocean front hotels onVero Beach. Is Vero Beach part of the treasure coast? what about South of Sebastian. Let me know since I am confused and never been there before. Thanks.

Sfox, If it were me I wouldn't stay in Vero, to much traffic and expensive, There used to be a small Mom& Pops motel on the beach side of A1A north of Sebastian inlet just before you get into Melborne I stayed at about 6-8 yrs ago. It was beach front and reasonably priced. Don't know if it is still there or not. It was like a little one with about 6-10 rooms that ran from the road to the beach, not parallel with A1A.
The treasure Coast I think runs from Melborne or there abouts south to around Ft Pierce. the Wabasso beach area is probably the heart of it. Wabasso is across the river from Sebastian. As soon as you get across the beach and run out of road is Wabasso Beach, the parking lot is just across the traffic light, go thru the light and into the parking lot. It is a public beach.
Sebastian inlet state park cost just to get in on the south side and on the north west side. It used to be free to get in the north east side where the restaurant is or was. I was thinking you could hunt the beach, but you might want to ask before you go in on the south side.
