Default Watch those tick bites

Ticks seem to be plentiful this year in Va., and I'm sure almost everywhere else, too. I have removed quite a few that "had a hold". I'm a little concerned about one bite on my leg. The bite is probably a week old, and I noticed a thin ring around it. I didn't notice the "ring" until tonight. I've heard about the "bullseye effect" of a Lyme disease tick bite. Anybody know much about these?

I pulled three in March. Seem to be thick this year, was also on the news tonight. You ought to have that one checked by a Doc.

While I lived in Tucson Az. the little *&^% could bleed your dogs to death!

Thank the powers to be we don't have the little evil beast here!

A bit up north they can be a problem.

I've pulled them off parts of my body not to be mentioned!

Funny enough we have few fleas here too! I think it gets just a bit to cold in the Winters!

God messed up when he made those critters!

Yes, you are right. The only difference between a tick and a politician is the size

The only way to know if you have Lyme Disease is to have a doctor test for it. Sometimes you have to get tested twice to make sure.

Get that bite CHECKED OUT! Having lived in Ct , prior to moving to MD, I lived in the East Lyme area. That bite does not sound good. I would get to the doc. and have a test for Lyme.
