Default there may be gold in those pull tabs

just a question to ask.how many do you find in a hunting trip? the reason im asking is this, i was telling a friend how many of them i find, and he suggested to me to start saving them, the reason he says,he works for a company that got hooked up with the shirners, and for each gallon milk jug of pull tabs a cancer kid gets a free treament ....the company places the jugs in the break rooms and from what im told ,they get filled fast,i also foud out that our local firedept. does the same thing, they use the extra cash to buy equpment,so the next time we dig a pull tab,ask yourself what am i going to do with this, throw it in the trash or turn it into gold for someone else.........besides what could it hurt

I save all of the lift tabs I find as my wife has a container from the Ronald McDonald house. They collect these and it helps defray the cost of families with children who are ill. They are a little irritating to dig but the cause is worthy.

Save mine for the same kinda cuase. It's amazing what a pull tab can mean to someone suffering. Don't seem like Trash anymore now does it. Hats off to those who use their pull tabs wisely

Hey SK,

Yep, you could say that. Small and medium gold rings are in the pull tab range on your detector. It's nice to get a golden surprise when you are thinking you're going to get a pull tab. I only wish it happened more often!

I donate my pulltabs as well. Motivates you to dig them up and as hawk said, you might be surprised.
