Default auction detector

went to a household auction and stayed for 5 hours to buy a matel detector ............. paid 10 bucks for it

it is a whites electronics coin master
looks to be used some but in pretty good shape
the only thing wrong is the one battery holder is broken and does not make good contact
it does work I can hold it and make this thing work

Looks like a great bargain! Will duct tape work on the battery? My household seems to run on duct tape and wide rubber bands.

I was thinking a plastic zip tie and go around the piece completely !!

Gw....I have two of the earlier coinmasters...that one looks even older than the ones I have...that was and still is a great machine was ahead of its time back in the seventies...although a little heavy it will keep up with the newer machines...I think Big Bill has and still uses on of those old machines...good luck with it!

ok what I have figured out is, my model is a coinmaster 4
under the warranty it says it can be shipped by parcel post, freight or stage!!
my disk is fixed to the telescoping rod and does not have any adjustment for angles like my ace 150.

wild and bizarre things you can find at an auction !!
