Default recap on the school

I finally finished the talent show salsa dance and it was a complete success. The kids loved it so now that all that stuff is out of the way I proceeded to sneak my metal detector to my office and will continue detecting the back field today. Eventhough I have permission from the principal I do not like to be seen too much with my detector because sometimes people especially middle school children they start to ask tons of questions and some might even follow me to the field and I do not want to provoke so much attention to it. I'm talking 100's of kids when it is dismissal and they see me with it. Now that I have it in my office I just sneak through the back and start to detect. Bad thing is that it's about 95 degrees out there so I will just have to tough it out. It's a good thing that I have my cap.

Default good deal

yep, hot here to.about the same as you ...90's. hope you made some good finds today...schools are lucrative, iv'e been finding out! hope you didnt draw a crowd! kids are so interested in what we dig. sometimes the polite ones that ask to see what i find will end up taking home the clad i show them. they LOVE that and i dont mind it at all, makes me feel good to see that interest in something come out of them, other than gameboy or whatever they have these days. hope to see some pics of the loot!

Default Thanks guys

Not too much after about 3 hours in total hunting during 2 days. Have found about a dollar in clad and some kind of jewlery but cheap jewlery so no big deal. a lot of junk. for some reason there are either whole cans or part of cans under the grass sometimes even 5 to 8 inches deep. I do not get it. Have you guys ever experienced that? I have a couple of ideas. One idea is that the guys who got the dirt and grass going had some sodas and did not pick up trash and my other idea is that these guys who cut the grass at the school from time to time just go ahead and cut the grass without removing any cans or junk and just cut over it and the can just gets spit in the ground and the grass grows over it and the roots just bring the can or part of the can lower it. what do you guys think? I will detect the school at other areas for about 1 hour or 2 and if no good luck I already have another site that I will try. I am going to post a couple of questions soon. Going to the treasure coast in 3 weeks.
