Default This hot weather is bad, but not for me.

This heat has helped my Rheumatoid Arthritis! Winter has traditionally been my favorite time of year, with the relic hunting and other hunting seasons. But, for the last 4 years or so, my bones don't want me to go except on unusually "good" days when it's cold. It is a Blessing not to be in pain now, even though the temperature is a hundred I used to hate this kind of weather! Looks like it's going to be a repeat of last summer, with lots of heat and no rain. If we could only get some rain...........

Default Thanks, Folks!

I STILL haven't been out detecting. They're working me to death at the water plant. All this heat and lack of rain has really increased water usage, thus longer hours(more O.T). Been trying to stay on top of the weed situation in the garden when I've been home. Why is it that weeds grow so well without rain, but the good stuff doesn't? Always wondered about that.......I am going to be off Thursday thru Sunday, and can't wait!! I IS GOIN' DIGGIN!! Way past time for my favorite hobby.
