Some connection seems to be a bit off between my detector and the coil. there is like a little knob that you turn to open it but after that what is the next step? do you just pull the cord or is there a specific way to detach the coil? I have never done this since I bought the unit and there might be salt, dirt and stuff caught in there that might be giving me a bad connection. From time to time it seems to like turn off for a bit then it turns right in again. It's like it takes a little snooze and comes to. Kinda like when you are driving and get very tiered and close your eyes for 3 or 4 seonds then you open them again and come to. let me know.
I am at school cleaning my desk and stuff but since leaving early I'm going to a park to detect. There are 2 sand playgrounds and do not think anyone has tried detecting there. It is also an older park.
