First off I must say thank you to all of you who entered my contest. Its been a great experience for me and I thourally enjoyed seeing the effort put forth by all. Sooner or later I will post another contest. Now for all those who voted and maybe even some who haven't voted yet it is time to be heard. This poll will run for one week. Just placed my vote. After talkin to Swiz last night on chat, I went back to look overeverything. This was a hard decision for me to make. All the entries were great. Hats off to ya'll.

No problem guys. This has been fun and will be fun to do again. I just need to come up with new contest ideas and decide what to do for a prize. I just wanted to get something started and maybe I'll win something decent myself next time. I'm just happy that I could contribute to such a great forum with such decent people. Its developing bonds that will last a life time and just doing it man. Like I said before "We are living in the Present, Digging up the Past for the Future to see". I'm living in the moment and loving it. Today was priceless!! The finds at the first spot were all right. A crate full of old bottles (not really old) Some 85 to 100 yrs old i'm guessin'. But the second spot the finds were kinda crappy but I loved every minute of it. Freshly scratched and cut fingertips, Breaking the the last of the frost, The smell of pine and watching a 175+lb. Whitetail try to go around me for 10 minutes. I was blocking his/her path to the field I just walked through. It can't be beat. Its serenity to the max. I love the whole experience and that's why I do it. This weekend "3day camping trip" 150+ year old swim hole, possible gold mine, 1800's abondoned settlement, a tannery to look for and an orchard. Lots of exploring and cellar holes to find. I'll keep a daily log and post it along with my finds. "Enjoy life, enjoy this, enjoy detecting in the wilderness, its bliss..shear bliss". Swiz
