Default I am Upgrading

Hi to all,
I have been MDing for about four or five years.
I have a Whites Classic I.D. SL now, but it is time that
I get a new detector. At first I was sold on
Whites MXT, then I saw Mindlabs X-Terra 70 on ebay
and took a look at it. Now I am torn between the two.
Kellyco has a deal on the X-70 with an extra coil and
other things. So they are about eqaul in price.
Could any one out there give me pros and cons of the
two machines? I have done some research on both but
nothing is better than experience.
Thank you in advance

I had the same dilema 6 months ago. I, too was trying to decide between the MXT and the X-70. I bought the MXT. In order to really see if I had made the right choice, I would have needed to buy both and then compare, but, who can afford to do that? Wish I could help you, but....I do like the MXT. I'd say either would be a good choice.....

Well welcome to the site!

When I was buying my final 2 machines were these 2. I went with the X-Terra 70. I was able to check out both in person, so that helped. Both are very good units and will find the good stuff.

The X-Terra is 1 LB lighter, uses less batteries, and IMHO is just a great machine. It allows 3 different frequencies in hunting with the different coils. You can prospect and it has a true beach mode. I know the MXT can do all of this also. What it comes down to is your choice.

I really do not think you will go wrong with either one. Good luck in the choice. If you have any questions feel free to ask, Beale.
