I remember several people trying it on the different sights i visit. The only complaint I ever heard was the handle snapping.

I bought one of the Fiskars, yes its cheap, I used it once, and it was not neat at cutting a plug, and didnt care for it. My opinion.

Thats what I use, my daughter got it for me at Lowes or home depot for my b-day in January, I havent had any problems with it and it has a great warranty. Its great for root cutting and lightweight and can get through the georgia clay quite well. I would recommend it. And I think it was less then 10 dollars. G-girl

I'm a little hard on digging tools but the one thing I look for above all others is the guage of the metal. If it's solidly built then it looks like a good deal.

It is a cheap price so I have to wonder about the durability.

This is the digger I use and the only thing that I don't like is the handle. I pulled it off because it started to slip. I put gorilla glue in the handle and put the handle back on. It is the perfect knife, now. It does tend to scratch my finds, but that's a ME problem. Can't beat it for the price. I bought a nice little sheath for it that normally fits shears. Works GREAT!!!

I have used many diggers...the cheap ones seam to break...even the expensive ones bend...next I will try the one the guy from tq makes I think Beale said who!

I figured I could get buy with that kind of digger....tried several different types....believe me ....a quality tool makes a lot of difference....You get what you pay for........

Lots of good feedback. Thanks everyone. So it looks like this is probably a light weight digger. With the dirt out here the consistency of brick I need a heavy duty tool. I have a small garden pick that is about the size of a big hammer. It gets used a lot if I am not at a park that is well irrigated. I ought to do a video of how hard the ground is out here. It is truly amazing.
