That is great.............my Brother is Blind and it can be difficult for him to distinguish between coins of similar size and our paper money is not at all easy.
All money should have braille,it makes sense,don't you think.

Close your eyes and rummage through the coins in your pockets and see if you can tell what they all are.

That is a very cool coin. I am suprised that more coins do not have braille on them. It sounds like a good idea to me, Beale.

Yea i know on the price....BUT as per the article..."400,000 commemorative silver coins will be issued in 2009 in both proof and uncirculated versions to honor the bicentennial birth and achievements of Louis Braille." Get em while they are hot....(when we can of course...haha..
