Portrait, I know what you mean about that other forum. I was there for only a short time and had to leave. I saw the same things going on and it sickend me to see the treatment others were getting by a few of the regulars there. Sure glad I found this forum. Great group of people here. I have never felt like I didn't belong here, always friendly, and willing to help someone with questions and answers. Pappy, Greg, and the rest of ya'll,

Well, I finally said "screw you guys, I'm outta here..." I'm not goin back... this is the only forum to be in, anyway...
They're calling me "jealous" now... no, I'm RIGHT. Damn, I need to shake this off... sorry, guys...

You cant please everyone Robzombie...
Sometime you find stuff and some folks just dont beleive it. So what,let them think what they want.Sometimes people try to B.S. folks about finds and there is not much any one can do about that. If there is a forum out there that you don't like just do not go to it anymore. You are going to have a jerk or 2 about anywhere ya go except a very few forums,this being one of them.

HolyMoly! This just ain't right. That kind of stuff just shouldn't happen on any forum. To make hateful comments like that about someones spouse on a public forum just isn't right at all. I knew there was bickering going on there, but this is over the top. Sure glad I'm not on there anymore, I would be ashamed. Greg, Pappy, thanks for having such a top notch forum here.

well my posts got deleted. that site is a joke. if you dissagree you get deleted. they said very vulgar things about portriats wife and i stuck up for him, but they dont like people sticking up for whats right i guess.

everyone runs their forum
according to their own ideas and values. If you find a forum you don't like just never go back. It has always worked for me.

Several months ago I started looking at the metal detecting sites. I went into one that had chat and was very excited at the prospect of talking to some other people who enjoyed doing what I do. They acted like they were too good to talk to me. I didn't even look at any more sites for awhile and then found this one. I already feel like I have been posting here for years. I really enjoy it here and occasionally look at the other sites but I guess this one suits my personality, just a little strange and off kilter
