Default Cleaning a old hatchet

My buddy cleaned a hatchet I found at a old Pa mansion. He used electrolysis. This is the first time I have seen it work. The black picture is after it was done. The only other thing he did was to coat it with a clear acrylic. I thought someone might like to see it.

Very nice! I have a few axe heads that I have been wondering how to get all the rust off! Now if I can get my husband to build me one of those! If I attempted I would probably burn the house down!

very easy to make pat. ive made 2. heres a link on how to build one and how to use one.. its all stuff you probly have at home. its very worth it, you will use it many, many times. its safe too as long as you dont put your fingers in the water after its plugged in. not that ive done it or anything.
