Just called Garretts

I used to own a Garretts AT-3 Beach hunter MD. Great little machine. It had its limitations, as it couldn't go under water greater than six feet, but for beach hunting it was great. I called them to ask if there might be something in the works for another unit like the AT-3, lets say with the ACE250 controls, and they said no. I can't dive anymore, and something like this would serve me quite well in shallow water, and the price wouldn't be as much as most of the waterproof detectors cost right now. I looked at the ones on ebay, but I haven't heard of these brands. Professional 3080. Anyone know anything about them?
