Default Operation Silver and Gold

From the land of the Bluenose.....0830hrs Zulu deposited the "black bag" containing the parphernalia needed to complete the mission covertly in the rear compartment of my not so specially equipped Goquickski. My rendez-vous at 1015hrs with my informant left me time to "case' the Common Green area before the meet. Intel on this spot came from first hand experience as I had operated in this field on several occasions. During this time I managed to unearth multiply deep cover targets that amounted to $6.61 and a curious device used for weighing C4!

Deeply engrossed in this exercise I almost missed the prearranged signal of a double tap on the horn that signified that my pigeon had arrived and was taking me to the site where the diamond and emerald ring was lost 10 years ago. Meandering along the Waverly Rd. gave me time to plan the parameters of my assault. Was it in the garden, in the lawn or ever worse....under the veranda with it's hidden dangers. Intel was on a need to know basis and obviously my snitch didn't think I needed to know!

Arriving at the predesignated location I was taking no chances adding another battery trio to my ammo pouch. Exiting the vehicle with extreme prejudice I knew immediately that this job was going to be a quick in and out affair as the dwelling was on a cliff surrounded by trees and a very vocal guard dog who I keep a close eye on even though the beast was on a lease. After a furious hour search of all possible hiding spots my sweep and creep left me high and dry with only three pennies uncovered. My informant was happy that I tried and indicated that if any new information came to light she would pass it on.

Then did a shoot and scoot to my favourite lakeland retreat which required a look see in my black bag to secure the tools of the trade for an aquatic assignment. I was a loose cannon on this one acting on a gut instinct , going in cold and loving every moment of it. My gut...as bad as it was, feeling the need for a dozen Bud did not fail me for it wasn't long before I bagged a silver salamander toe ring, coins and one nice 10k wedding band.

Time was running out for this mission as a debriefing (work) was scheduled for 1730hrs. Using the first stationary communications device (pay phone) avaiable I called the owner of the diamond ring lost while on standby at the ballfield and reported directly to her my lack of progress on that case assuring her that I would not rest till I had a successful conclusion to that caper adding that the coins I retrieved went towards a cup of joe which was ample payment...while the zillion pulltabs and bottle tops were being donated to the Moosehead Brewery. My numbered Swiss bank account on this day was enlarged by 51 coins totaling $9.64. The attached micro dot will self destruct after five minutes.
