Bad News

Bank took my truck last night... went to leave for work, and it wasn't there... not positive it wasn't stolen, but I'm almost certain the bank got it...

Hard to look at the bright side, but at least you don't have to be concerned with that bank any longer. I make my living doing art myself. So I'm all too familiar with hard times. I've been tattooing for 16 years now and have seen good times and bad. But up here in WV, it doesn't seem to ever get too good as far as money goes. So we don't really notice bad times until the bank comes knocking at the door. In WV, we thank God for Mississippi who sometimes bumps us out of 50th postion when it comes to average household income. LOL. (no offense to Miss.-been there and loved it!)
From what I've seen, you're a darn good artist. Chin up brother, we'll pray for you up here too.

Thanks, guys... yes, they did come get it... done some thinking about it and decided to just let them have it (I could've gotten it back for 2 grand that my boss at my new job offered to front me - yes, I do have a job now) but the gf and I decided to use it to get something cheaper and just let those wolves have it...

I really appreciate all the positive thoughts... I need to get out and hunt some, but it's just been too hot here...

Just a thought, I dont mean to be negative here, but the bank can sell the truck for less than what is owed and you will still be responsible for the balance ,,

I know how you feel ,Been there done that , but everyone is right !!! things will get better!! Glad that your working that is a Good thing !!

Sorry to hear about things. I've been there, still digging out (pun not intended).
Life is cyclical: Things don't stay bad forever. They do get better.
Sounds like you're working, and I wish Bob the best as well. Hope you're able to work regular again, too.
And jeffersWV: I heard you! Love the Southland. That's where my heart (and my house) is.
I'm only out here on the West coast as this is where my dream job and the $$$ is.
Had to make the move. Couldn't turn this down, especially since it meant I'd be able to do a lot more for my kids.
I'd go back to Asheville in a heartbeat if I could find a decent job there.
My advice to you P.A. is to get your work out there, let the right folks see what you do, establish your reputation, and go for your dreams!
