Word of caution
Last evening I received an email supposedly from Pay Pal. It looked real, it had Pay Pal's web page down to all the disclaimers and security advice telling me that my account had been suspended because someone from Romania had tried to access it, even gave IP # and access attempts.. If I wanted to reactivate my account I needed to give them my information again within the next 24hours or my account would be terminated.. I spent a few years in the computer field and when I saw this red flags went up and the room was filled with the smell of herring..
I didn't give them any info but copied the page and sent it to Pay Pals security dept.. They got back to me and confirmed my original thoughts. My email address had been harvested and I was being phished.. Let me state again, the page looked real!! Pay Pal was very helpful and is checking into this bogus webpage and will hopefully disable it.. Maybe you folks already knew about this and I'm just slow but I wanted to pass this info along and maybe save someone some real headaches...... Bob
