Default silver coin 1285

i found this in my 1st year detecting and haven't found anything as good since.
here's the reply from the museum.( i have posted this before)

Dear Mr Smith,

This is a sterling or 'crockard' of the Duchy of Brabant (now in Belgium)
struck for Duke John I (1261-94) or John II (1294-1312) between the 1280s
and c.1300. Crockards circulated in England in large numbers until they
were effectively eliminated by a recoinage in 1299-1300.
