Question about old Grist Mill's

Has anyone ever hunted public Grist Mill's from the 1830's. What were your result's and is it worth the time and effort?

I've hunted a few grist mills with fair results.

Thank's Gregory for your post. That was kinda what I was looking for but I'm interested in the find's that a "public" Grist Mill was located. Perhap's I will be the first to find out, I don't know. Again thank's for your response I didn't know how to use the search program. HH

I have drawn a blank from post's here and other board's. I would think that the normal coin's from the "era" might appear and hope that alot of silver might be there. I am going in blind with a fever to find. Happy Hunting everyone.
