Default Electricity and the Buddhist Monk

From the land of the Bluenose.....Breakfast of grapefruit juice and 4 pills(3 prescription and one a vitamin) and it was time to head to Pat's in search of the lost survey spike as a "Family Feud" had developed across her street as one party in a duplex was going to erect a fence between the two abodes. Unbeknownst to me Marie had taken Goquickski to the doctor to fix her faulty muffler....ummmm wonder how much that cost? Anyway she purred all the way to Pat's. At Pat's we chatted a bit then she pulled out a drawing a busker had made during her visit downtown which depicted a her as a Buddhist monk (chimo has caused all her hair to fall out) squatting in the classic prayer mode. We both got a good laugh out of that one and when I have a chance I'll post it...she gave her consent ...lol!
Crossing the street I fired up the old Garrett which hummed to perfection at least till we got in the backyard and began the search for the stake she went snarky! I immediately took her apart checking the battery connections, coil and coil connection with all appearing in order. Turning it on once again she resumed an incessant chat that would have rivaled a teen age girl on the phone. Walked out front to go get a fresh set of batteries and the Freedom 111 immediately quieted down. The investigation was a foot! I turned her off and returned to the back yard to examine why she acted up. One look to the heavens revealed the secret....high tension power lines. Informed Pat of the problem and she thanked me for my effort and lost sleep. Decided that since I was in the area Id try a local park for a few coins. Was in heaven with no dogs, no children, a bright sunny day and soft soil to dig in which gave up 37 coins bringing me that much closer to beating my total of 3800 coins even from last year. Sadie sung to me all the way home as I had to get ready for the night shift.
