still looking in!!
hi all! have been looking in in here at all posts (great stuff!), but i have only been detecting once in the last week (found a nice harness or leather mount), plan on going tomorrow! its just that i decided to do a three way swap in the bedrooms here at my house and that means redecorating! now im thinking bahhh why did i start this
 ? still i suppose it will be worth it in the end, first ones done and the next two rooms are nothing major. happy hunting everyone!! i cant wait till tomorrow and i will be out there let you know if i find anything good. from sue

nice hammerd coin Sue! Ever find any Roman items. was watching a show about Claudius Galen the other day and saw where the archeologist found a surgical kit in the UK. very interesting. good luck!

Glad to hear from ya Sue! know what ya mean I started tackling my yard this past week so not much time to do any detecting! Hope to get out soon! Can't wait to hear what you find on your next outing!

hi Tom, no i havent found anything roman that is metal, but i found some bits of pottery and the museum told me they were 1st century early roman so wether the detectorists have cleared the field before me i dont know but i have not covered all this land as it had crops growing. might do a drive by and check it out
