Default ever come across one of these while swishing (photo)

From the land of the Bluenose....well when a Canuck says skate the only thing they think of is a pair of skates laced on to a hockey player.
Shown here is my daughter picking up the poor bugger who got washed a shore. Hear the flippers are good eating! Don't think one could glide across the ice wearing a pair of these skates!

Default cool

A skate is a Stingray without the barb that a Stingray would have, just a harmless sea creature. My brother stepped on a stingray and had the barb go all the way through his foot while swimming in Fla.

Don't know how many bottom rigs i lost because of those skates and they feel like a 10lb flounder and you fight that sucker and end up cutting the line. Bummer. I did hear that some folks punch out the wings and call the meat( Poor mans scallops) not sure if it's true though.
