Default Heavens to Mergatroid..it's Snow even...

Here in SW Pa....we got a sudden and freakish snow storm overnight that has left many small (fully foliated) trees broken and bent. It snowed all night here, and there was about 5 inches on my car when I went to the post office this morning. Here's a picture out my window that I just took.

We haven't even had a hard frost yet. Guess it's almost time to send my 6000 for service.

At least the ground's still relatively warm and it's melting away at the same time it's piling up. The sheet metal of the car gets cold quickly and all of that snow sticks to the car. The little spur road I live on is snow covered, but the main roads are just wet. There were a few trees lying across the road earlier, but they take care of those pretty quickly.

I still have some hunting I want to do before the detector goes back....but I still have that Eagle too. I'm just too lazy and distracted to try and absorb 27 pages of operating instructions.

I have to make a trip to the cardiologist here in awhile....for a checkup I guess.

Awesome picture! We don't get snow here but maybe once or twice during the winter months and it usually lasts a day or two if we are lucky! The kids get really excited when it snows here! My son just looked at that snowy picture and said those kids didn't have to go to school did they! lol! What makes him so excited... Thinking of getting to miss a day of school to play in the snow!!!

The moisture for your snow storm may have came from the Hurricane that is moving up and off the east coast????? Just a thought!!
