My First Miniball!!!!!

I found my first miniball last week when Pappy himself came down and went hunting with me. It was towards the end of the day, all we had found were some modern bullets and Pappy found a nice token in my graveyard circa 1800's, I was making my way back to the house when I got a good "DING" I located this small ball about 6" deep. Pappy ID'd it as a miniball. I was really excited as I have never found anything this old. I have not beem MDing very long. I guess the old Garrett CXIII can still find the stuff. I know what you mean by finding your first. I just found my first musket ball. I was estatic, in fact my friend had to tell me what it was. I can now understand why so many hunters look for such items. They are something with a lot of history behind them and I want more of them.
