Here's mention of an old picnic grove.....found it by accident. If one event was held there...in all probability...more than one event was held there.

The Zion Reunion
The reunion of the old members of Zion United Brethern church and the
people of the community in general will be held on Saturday, August 6,
in Henry Chapman's woods, near the church. The program will be given
next week. People attending should bring their dinners and spend the
entire day. On the forenoon 2 short addresses will be given. In the
afternoon there will be recitations, singing, and stories of long ago
will be told by the older citizens. A short Sermon will also be preached
especially for the aged folks by the pastor of Zion church, Rev. George
C. Cooke, Anthony A. Mealy has consented to act as chairman of the day.

I noticed you post as State College PA. Is it in the same general location of Raystown Lake ? My neighbor has 11 acres there and often invited my wife and i to vacation there. HH Bill

Raystown lake is pretty well southeast of State College. This place would be located in Zion Pa.....about 30 minutes north of State College.

I have a couple similar leads more locally that I'm going to be working on locating. If successful...I hould be able to find some earlier coins. One place in particular that I'm going to seek out dates back to the 1860s.
