After reading the posts here and in another forum everyone had all positive things to say about both machines, nothing neg, which is good, I feel I cant go wrong with either one.
Since Ive used my Whites 6000/di for a few years im comfable with the company, and my local dealer is giving me a real nice deal on it. I appriciate all the input to help me make a decision and Il let you know how I like it in a few weeks. Thanks again |

Hi Mark
I also used a Whites 6000 di III then moved up to a 6000 Pro Series, then to the XLT, and now use the DFX and love my machine. I have to ask if you have priced your Whites DFX with Kelly Co Detectors. I purchased my XLT and DFX through them and saved about $200 on each machine over what my local dealer wanted. Not to push Kelly Co, but if you want to save some of your money for the gas you will need to get out to the outback, then give them a try. I do wish you well and know already that you will find stuff that was missed with the 6000 di. The DFX is just that good. I don't mean to say that there is no detector out there that better but for the money invested the DFX is a Home Run with me. Thanks :-) Dave Mork THing4CSA PS: Remember; Don't leave it in the ground! |
