Finally....Some great detecting weather....

Wow, beautiful day today. Temps. in the mid 60's for a change and sunny.Did some yard work, then I said heck with it and grabbed my slightly damaged detector(broke the lower rod). Got it pieced together for now until I get a new one. I hit a neighbors yard for a few minutes while I was waiting on my kids. I'll have to check it closer as I found several wheaties and an old metal soldier. I broke the leg on the soldier(Drat!) He still has good color on him. I then hit the beach. Found lots of clad at the beach area, a couple pocket spills, and some junk jewelry. All in all it was just real good to be out detecting again. I'm going on vacation starting tomorrow, down to Martinsville to take in the race,so I probably won't make it out again for at least a week. Hopefully the good weather is here to stay, as I'm really tired of cold and snow. HH everybody and good luck!
