so i can detect on sat and sunday... we finally get some warm weather and all hell breaks loose . tornadoes, hail, wind .. .. hope its sunny and warm where ever you guys (and gals) are ..

My detector arrived on Wednesday. The day was wonderful right up until about noon when the sky opened up with rain and strong winds. Haven't had hardly a drop of precip all winter -- why NOW!?! Went out that evening anyway, in light rain and dropping temperatures-- had to try out my new EX II! Froze my @*& off, but did manage to find a couple coins and a fair amount of trash. Maybe Thursday evening would be better? Nope, woke to snow Thursday! Then the winds really kicked up and the temp dropped. Still windy and cool now, but starting to warm up. I was supposed to have today off -- was planning some fun with the detector. Of course, that changed and here I am at work. I'm still hoping it warms up this afternoon, 'cause I think I'll play hookie! I've got all my gear in the truck just itching to go! Wish me luck!
