Default Think it will produce?

Got up in the mountains today. Been doing some research on an old mine that was shut down back in the 40's. It is called the Benbow mine and they mined chrome there. Could not get up to the actual mine today, still to much snow but did make it up to the mine mill site which is about 6 miles from the actual mine. I tried to detect some but it was very cold and windy today, not a lot of fun. Lots of interesting signals but the ground is still froze pretty hard. Did dig some but nothing interesting today. Picture one is one I got off the internet showing the mill when it was operating. The rest are from today. Thought you might enjoy some of the mountain pictures from Montana.

I think it could use a little more than just chrome...maybe a complete over haul!!!

Never heard of a chrome mine...You dig some chrome I want to see it!!

Thinking back I believe I have hit a few chrome mines myself!!!

Should see the chrome piled up in the ole back yard!!! Husband doesn't know what to think about me!!! More stuff than he has back there!!! lol!!!

Hit a trash pile...brought some bottles home and he said...Bottles now!!!
A friend said bottles... good!!!

Default Chrome on a mustang? Why bother !

Just kidding about the mustang.

Chrome ore is an black almost porous looking rock with some shinny specks scattered thru it. Actually quite a bit laying around the site. Couldn't get my detector to pick up any thing doing air tests. Next time I go up I will get some pics.
Check out the two pics I am attaching. If you lay them side by side you can see the peak in the back ground matches up. Looks like a thriving area back in its day.
