I just did a quick search on the web and this is the first hit that I found:

http://www.bc-alter.net/dfriesen/mine.html

Not sure if it is the real deal or not. I read about half of the first chapter and so far it reads as a cross between a work of fiction and a docu drama.

If there is some truth to it, and I lived in the Vancouver area, I definitely would be spending some time there in a canoe poking around for it.

I am sure someone from that region, especially someone from that region and this forum, would be able to provide some insight as to the articles merits.

Hi, If you type in "Spindle Explorations Treasure Forum" from your home page you should get the ( dfriesen web page). It is my understanding that he is planning a trip there this summer and will go by helicopter to Spindle peak where the lost mine is supposed to be. You can read about it and judge for yourself. Sounds exciting anyway. Happy hunting, Penny Plucker
