Pinpointer croaked!
Just have to vent!!!
There I was, getting in a few finds at the park on the way home from work when my Automax V4 Pinpointer decided to go whacky! One minute, all is well, then go to scan the plug with my pinpointer and it alerts and won't stop no matter the sensitivity setting! I think battery, so replace it-- same problem! ****! It's under warranty for a year and I've only had it less than a week, but what a pain! Lucky me that I have a backup (small hand detector I use to scan reclaimed timber for bits of metal before I feed them through my planer). Anyways, pulled another $1.32 in clad from about 30 square feet, got a hell of a long way to go to clear this area of the park of all this change! happy hunting all!
