Hello Diggers!I'm brand new to this mding.i have a Fisher impulseMD.Can someone tell me how to ajust the settings?Any help is appreciated.

Welcome! Sorry, but I don't really know anything about the Fisher, but I would suggest you post the question in the Fisher Metal Detection Forum where I'm sure there are lots of readers that can help.

HOws things in NM.Have you found any good stuff in NM?I've only been doing this for about a week,And I know it takes a lot of patience.loljustjenn

So far (I got my detector -- a Minelab Explorer II) back in the first week of April) I've found about $8.50 in "clad" (new vintage) coins, one silver dime (1964D Roosevelt), and just today found a silver/turquois child's ring. Oh, and lots of trash ranging from the ubiquitous pull-tabs to bearings and wheel weights. Keep at it and you'll find things of interest and maybe even value. Tomorrow, with any luck, I may head out to a nearby (but a long way to drive) ghost town to see if I can find something a bit older.
